Parks Galore!

When we reached the Entrance, we were really lucky to have some really big kids parks & playgrounds just down the road.

The first one we visited, had a massive sand pit, with all sorts of machinations for playing.
Eli really liked the converyer belt thingy, but glared at anyone who came near.
One really cute little girls came up and asked to play, but he explained quite seriously that she wasn't his best friend Ben, so he wouldn't be playing with her today.
Never mind that his best friend Ben was 500kms away!

So we went across the road, telling him if he didn't play with other kids, we may as well take him home.
Well, he didn't play with other kids, but had a great time "rockin'out".

It seems the 33 & 1/3 party we'd been to before we left, that featured some serious Rock Band playing, left a lasting impression.

It was too cold to go to the beach for a swim, but we headed down for a look.
They had a carnival, with a Jumping Castle & mega slide, so Daddy & bubby had a couple of slides.

We would have liked to do more beachy type things, but it was just too cold- and not just for me, the resident frog! However, it was a really nice time away together, a great break from Canberra's artic winds & weather, and a good time for quick catch ups with the fam on the East Coast.
