Family Holiday

The Dare family are quite well known non-travellers.
The only place I REALLY want to see enough to, well, travel to, is Uluru.

But, as our family is spread throughout the country, we do need to make the occassional trip about the countryside. We used to head north for Christmas, but we after our last horror trip, where the humidity in Kempsey just about killed us less than a week after Trev & I suffered the worse bout of food poisoning of anyone on the history of the planet. So, we thought that this year, we'd do Christmas in July. Better all round, right? Leave the sub-zero temps of Canberra, go north where it's warmer but not life-threatening (I know, I know, I winge....)

There were several legs of the trip, spread over 2 weeks. I shall post pics and provide details of each leg over the next few days. I think, however, these two photos sum up the family travelling thing rather succinctly.

Day One: Big Trip- food & drinks provided, DVDV player on, cued to Thomas he Tank, very exciting....

Day Ten: BBBiiiiiiiigggggggg TTTTTTrriiiippppppp- SO over it! Just get me home already!!!!
