We wanted to stick to a good old Aussie tradition, and on the occassional night we're allowed to water the lawn, we'd put the hose onto a slip and slide and get the boys to cool down.
Buying a slip and slide was the first trick. Even though it's well nigh impossible to buy a sprinkler these days (to attach to our grey-water-collecting & dispersing purple bin), it seems you can buy slip and slides with all kinds of bells and whistles, but we just wanted one that had a cushiony bit at the end.
OK, next trick was getting bubby to try it. Jacob thought he'd demoinstrate, but the water was too cold. No, we couldn't use warm water, its 36 degrees.
Bubby didn't like the spray bits along the sides, but eventually, and quite reluctantly, agreed for Treb to give him a puch and have a go.
