Homework, PJs & Stamps!!

Jacob has started doing his homework at the dining table every afternoon, so Eli has decided he needs to do homework too.

He "needs" 2 red permanent markers, a green highlighter, and a green permanenet marker, and "big paper"- A4 paper, not the piddly little notebooks I tried to palm off on him.

Then they sit together and do their homework!
And when it's time for Jacob to do his jobs, which consists of empty bins & recycling, Eli does it too. Jacob's training him up to take over...

On Tuesday, I passed a kids shop at the Mall that was closing down and had kids' flannelette PJs on special. Eli has an abundance of PJs but I couldn't resist the Thomas Tank ones.
Of course, on Wednesday, he refused to take them off all day!!

Luckily, Wednesday was our first real foggy cold day, so I was more than happy for him to bum around in his jammies.
He and Ethan spent a large part of the day doing a puzzle my cousin Jus gave Eli for Christmas, which Eli told me he & Ethan did together. But, on Thursday he kept spitting the dummy because he had NO idea how to do it, so I suspect Ethan did it and Eli shared the glory! That's my boy.
Today I had to make an emergency trip to the mall to get an essential oil that I ran out of in the middle of doing an order for someone. I had to go through a box of about a hundred oils to find the one I wanted, so I gave Eli a stamp and told him he could stamp himself while I was looking- I didn't bring the pram because I'd already taken it out of the car and packed it for a stall I'm doing in a shopping centre tomorrow for Mothers Day hampers.
Well, he went to town.
He had people giggling their heads off!

The photos don't quite do it justice, but he looks like a Madden brother! He kept finding bare spots, and contorting himself to get the stamp just where he wanted it. I think other shoppers thought I was unaware of what he was up to, but I knew.... I just thought they'd wash off easily, as the one I gave him in the same shop the other day did. BUT, this was a super duper one, with three different colours in one stamp. Even after a bath, I managed to get the blue off his face, and take off the red, fade the purple, but the blue on his arms will be there for a few days.
It seemed like a good idea at the time!!
