Eli on dad's bike

Eli has outgrown his "baby" helmet and has graduated to a big boy one!

He and Trev often go for a ride on the weekend. Eli always tells him "Go Fast!!" even if they're going up a hill. He has this ridgey-didge bike seat that goes in front of Trev, so he can see. It makes it tricky for Trev to get on & off, and to go up hills because he can't really stand up- his legs have to pedal at an odd angle, but they both love it.
Last weekend, I visited Ellen while they rode down to the lake, then I met them there with hot chips and we all had lunch. It's gorgeous in Canberra in autumn, and we're taking advantage of the weather before Anzac Day and the cold arrives- bringing Granny Kay & Poppa! Yay!!.
This is one of my favourite random pics.
Godma Roz gave Eli a Humphrey beanie, which I put on him (I was a big Humphrey girl! I even met him once at Westfield Parramatta, and I was so impatient to get OFF Johnny Farnham's lap to hug Humphrey- I was about 4, and Johnny was singing on stage, not doing anything untoward!!)
Well, Eli wore it all day, but I haven't seen it since. I suspect daddy has something to do with that......
