November update

November's almost gone, and Christmas is steam training it's way here. This month has seen Jacob finally acquire an electric drumkit he's been saving up for, for a year now. He's very happy with his purchase, and hasn't yet sent us around the bend, but it's only a matter of time. He's also learning that with one big purchase comes smaller ones for the peripheral stuff. He's saving now for a good set of head phones, then he wants an amp in his Christmas stocking (SOOOO not happening!), then no doubt there will be other things he wants.

Eli is in the process of cutting more teeth. Very grumpy and snotty over the weekend, didn't want me to go near him, talk to him, look at him, or even breathe the same air if possible!! He did not let go of Trev all weekend, but seems to be settling a bit now. One tooth through (which makes number 7) and another on the way.

Our bathroom has been replaced, and will be finished off this afternoon. We had a small hole in the shower base, which needed to be replaced,but in the end our entire bathroom has been replaced. A good job in all, although they didn't replace the bath, which is about a foot too short and a foot too shallow! Happy now to not have workmen in our home all day, but we are also about to have roof insulation put in, so our repreive will be brief.

Otherwise, all is well here. We are eagerly awaiting Judy's visit, for Eli to spend some time with his "faraway" Godma. We have been showing him photos hoping he won't be too shy to say hello- he's a shy lad, and I'm currently taking him for waving visits to Santa, in hope he'll eventually sit on his lap for a photo.

We are also eagerly awaiting another Johns bub, as Trev's beautiful sister is about to deliver another no doubt, exceptionally beautiful child.
