Oct update

Judy remined me last week it's been SO long since I've updated, so thought I better put something up. I am chatting with my nephew in Clarencetown at same time, so hope it's not too disjointed and badly spelt!

October of course is our big birthday month, with all the boys celebrating. We are making everyone's birthday presents this year. Jacob made Trev a golf version of cluedo which was a huge effort, and I made him a photo collage to take to work. Eli's is next, then Jacob's, so it's a busy month. We also have lots of wider fam ily & friends birthdays, so I've tried to be super organised, but mostly failed- every present I've posted this year has been late. And my sister's on Friday will be as well!

Eli has started walking, which is pretty awesome, and jacob is plodding along ok at school.
Oops, bub awake and sad, better go, will write more soon.

Ok, where was I? We took Eli to the Karinya House Dinner Dance this year, and ony took one photo of him dressed up, which unfortunately is a shocker of Trev. He was very well behaved, enjoyed the balloons and lights and being told how cute he was. The baby was good too!

Otherwise, life is travelling along well. Jacob has been drumming in his youth group and church from time to time, and drives me a bit batty tapping everything all day long. he's really looking forward to the end of the year though- he has found this year to be a bit long! He's already thinking of what college he'll go to, even though that's 2 years off- he wants to go wherever his friends go, but I've said that won't happen, he'll go where is best for him academically.

I did a craft and bath stall with my frind Debbie at the Emmaus fete, which went reasonable well considering we were in a bad spot where people couldn't see us, so the 2 of us, plus Jen and her wire daisies, are going to do the Hall markets in November & December. Plus Tez has organised for me to demonstrate some of my bath stuff to some of her friends so they can do their Christmas shopping. So at the moment I'm a bit busy with all that, plus looking after the house and the boys.

Excellent post, Cindy. I've only just caught up with the blogs I visit because our browsers were misbehaving and now I've downloaded a new one and all is good again. Did you catch up with the news that the Direens have moved back to Hobart?
