During the school holidays recently, we took Eli bowling.

Of late, he's been very into racing (thanks Rix lads!),

but he cracks it when he loses, so we have banned racing in our house.

We have tried to instil "Trying your best"

When Eli won bowling, we discovered he was a sore winner!

He went around and told EVERYONE he was the winner.

When I told him he shouldn't do this,

he should shake everyone's hand and say "Good game"

and that the important thing was that he tried his best.

So, he went around, shok everyone's hand and said.

"Good game.

I tried my best, so I won!"

you could almost hear "you loser" pegged onto the end!
