July & August

Eli is in the middle- see his blue eyes? Playing dress up at Godma Rozzies, with Ethan and Connor, who is especially helpful with Eli. Eli still goes to Godma's every Tuesday morning, and plays dress ups, paints, does drawing or puzzles, and generally has a great time. I have finished work, and am using Tuesday mornings to do leaflet drops for my bath business.
Who needs a hair cut? A very rare pic of Jacob these days, he hides at the sight of a camera. He has a soft spot for our Roz though, so I had to include it.

Cuddles with Godma Rozzie!

Eli playing dress ups with Connor- who has changed his nappy twice. Jacob? 0!!

August is here, and we are watching the Olympics, fighting off colds, and eagerly waiting the warm weather! Above is Jacob with our gorgeous Roz from next door, a rare photo of my big boy, and hard evidence that he desperately needs a hair cut!!
Eli is very keen to start potty training. He is telling us "I did a wee!!" and I will get the potty out this weekend. I'd like to start when it's a bit warmer, but he is keen keen keen.
He's also loving the Olympics, especially the swimming, when he calls "Come on Brenty!" regardless of who's racing- Brenton Rickard's sister-in law and their gorgeous kids come to playgroup, so we've been watching him keenly, and we've been stoked to see him win silver. He also likes watching hockey, basketball and pingpong! Plus he "weight lifts" his golf clubs, and does the gymnastic armthing when he rolls around on the floor. All an improvement from "wrestling" his biscuit a couple of Sundays ago- guess what Daddy was watching? Wrestling is now banned from our telly!

Jacob had a ball at world youth day, getting lost lots, crowd surfing and generally having a great time by all accounts. I haven't seen pics yet, but he tells me he has some. He spent all his money on the 2nd day, and tells me as soon as he gets a job he's going to start saving for Madrid. Generally he had a great time and a fantastic experience, which is good. He spent lots of time with people from various countries, dancing in the empty Sydney streets, and doing lots of things I'm too neurotic to let him do normally!
